Has anyone put together any research resources for researching Sears boats? I recently purchased one and I'm in the process of restoring it. Sears Jon Boat Serial Number Search Online
I've read here that Alumacraft manufactured for Sears, but after contacting Alumacraft, found out that wasn't the case. The boat I have does not have a HIN anywhere. It does have a serial number stamped into the aluminum of the transom in 1/2' numbers, no letters. It's definitely Sears. Other than that, I have no clue. Any help is greatly appreciated.
